Immigration and Politics
So it’s been about six fucking months since I posted anything, I guess it’s about time I broke down and did another one.
It’s not like I don’t have fucking rants and other shit running through my brain prety much constantly, it’s just been so much fucking work here lately to sit my ass down and type them out. Wish I had a fucking brain scanning thing that would simply sit on my head and scan my thoughts into posts. Well maybe not, since if I’m not thinkg about stupid ass shit or dumb ass politicians, I’m fantasizing and rubbing my cock. Just what I need, a blog full of fucking masturbation stories. Some of which actually never fucking end cause I fill my hand full of cum before I actually finish the fantasy.
But neither my lack of typing skills or my masturbation techniques are the subject that this post is meant to be made of. I want to discuss stupid ass politicians and hell I’ll even throw in most of fucking California into the mix. In case you haven’t figured it out yet, I’m gonna post about the new Arizona immigration law. You know that law that the majority of the people like but most politicians seem to dislike. But I’ll get into why that is later.
First, someone please explain to me why this fucking law is bad, PLEASE! I really want to understand the reason so many politicians are opposed to it. The only thing I seem to hear is it will lead to racial profiling, although that has been expressly prohibited by Arizona law. Meaning that a person can not be stopped strictly because of their race. But that still remains the biggest issue I hear when people oppose the law. Hell even the president has come out and spoke about it and didn’t bother to acknowledge the fact. In fact, he brought up a scenerio that simply could not happen as his example of why the law was bad. In fact he said "but you can imagine if you are a Hispanic American in Arizona, your great, great grandparents may have been there before Arizona was even a state. But now suddenly if you don’t have your papers and you took your kid out to get ice cream, you’re going to be harassed, that’s something that could potentially happen" and that is emphatically untrue. That is unless your stopped for speeding and even then I doubt that a officer would bother you about nationality if you spoke English. He may if the only language you speak is Spanish or your English was extremely poor making it almost impossible to have a conversation with you but what is the likelihood of someone having been here for generations not being able to speak English.
So what is so wrong with if your stopped for lets say running a stop sign that the police actually check to see if you are in the country illegally. They already check to see if there are any warrants for your arrest. Here in California, they can even require identification from a passanger in the car and "run their ID". It actually makes perfectly good sense to me.
In much of the free world when you travel abroad it is a good idea to carry your passport. Why is it such an imposition for someone to carry their passport to show that they are actually in this country legally?
The problem with the Arizona law is that it doesn’t go far enough. It really could simplify the process if they took it a step farther and started adding citizenship status and visa information on their drivers licenses and ID cards. Imagine the firestorm that would cause. Illegal imagrants couldn’t drive their broked down fucking trucks, without insurance, or at least if they did they would be breaking yet another law. Of course, if your already breaking one law simply because you don’t agree with it or it’s an inconvienance is it so difficult to do it again if you run against another similar law.
Imagine, if every state had a law like this then the events of 9/11 would have been more likely to not have occurred. Since I’m sure that some of the terrorists were (and I’d bet many more here in this country still are) here on expired visa’s and theoretically lost in the system, they could have been caught and deported before those events transpired. Perhaps even the first trade center bombing would have been thwarted by such a simple change in the laws. These seems like one of the least intrusive ways of accomplishing this. Now isn’t this Homeland security? It puts more eyes on the problem and actually wouldn’t cost nearly as much as any of the other proposals I’ve heard.
That and actually imposing the law that requires firms to not hire illegal aliens be enforced and firms doing so fined. Which would but a big dent in the financial reason for illegal immigration.
But no politicians would rather build big walls with gaurds or send in the military to protect the border. But remember walls work in both directions, not only do they keep things out but they also keep things in. Makes scenerios like the old movies "Escape from New York" and "Escape from LA" possible. With all the political bad will perhaps the next would be Escape from Arizona!
Why are politicans afraid of somthing like I discussed, its simple, its pure politics. Not what’s best for the country but what’s best for the individual politicians. Politicians know that the only part of the electorate where this is a major issue (top two) are the latino population. The rest of us are much more concerned with the economy, jobs, size of the government than the immigration issue. So to oppose the Arizona law is politically correct as it provides a much smaller backlash in the voting booth than being for it.
I guess that’s why fucking California was so quick to jump on criticising Arizona. A VERY large latino political base. It makes sense that an extremely liberal San Francisco (with a congresswoman who can’t differentiate between legal and illegal immigration) would be against it and it also makes sense that a city like Los Angeles with a latino mayor would rally against it other than polls of California citizens, those who recognize that illegal immigration costs this already cash strapped state a lot of money, support the Arizona law.
Aren’t the politicians supposed to support the will of the people? Why aren’t they being held accountable? It should make for an interesting mid-term election as the majority of the current crop of idiots in Washington seem hell bent on proving that they know better than the people they are supposed to represent. But I doubt it!

When this fucking picture was shot, I’d bet this helicopter pilot thought he was the luckiest dude alive.
